Earlier this year, we lost the legendary Norman Jewison, and on May 16, 2024, we gathered to honour the CFC founder with a send-off to remember.

Norman’s vision for the Canadian Film Centre was simple. He knew our country and our many different peoples had stories that are distinctly our own, stories worthy of being seen from coast to coast.

Although it’s been 36 years since Mr. Jewison founded the Canadian Film Centre, shaping the future of storytelling never quits.

Alfredo Romano, CEO and Founder of Castlepoint Numa, Co-chair of the CFC Gala event committee, joined with more than 450 guests and organizations to support this memorable fundraiser. The gala raised over $580,000 in support of full scholarships and the CFC’s world-renowned programs!
