As a city builder involved in waterfront revitalization for over 30 years and who have active projects in the Port Lands, it is thrilling to watch the flood protection and infrastructure works transforming the Port Lands. At the end of 2021, Waterfront Toronto released a video detailing the construction milestones that had been achieved including reinforcing the new dockwall where the water’s edge promenade on Villiers’ Island will be, restoring a natural shoreline that has supported the explosion of native fish species, and installing the new Commissioners Street bridge.
